Mox is a London based video director and visual artist renowned for his work with Coldcut, and The Cinematic Orchestra for the cutting edge British electronic label Ninja Tune. Mox has collaborated, additionally, with artists such as Mylo, Imogen Heap, Goldie, DJ Food,Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Daedelus and electronic labels Hospital, Metalheadz and Freerange clubs

Having worked with Detroit techno innovator Carl Craig, under his Innerzone Orchestra moniker, Mox is presently performing and developing an architectural audiovisual piece entitled Conversations in Space with internationally acclaimed pianists Kelvin Scholar and Francesco Tristiano.

Originating from Poland and its politically sensitive past Mox, as a teenager, found distraction in fine art and graphic design going on to study architecture and 3D animation. Together with an interest in the emerging electronic music culture Mox started to bring together the strands of visual communication, DJing and music production. The inevitable outcome formed the beginnings of his experimental audio-visual shows.

In 2001 Mox started a long-term collaboration with Skalpel (Ninja Tune Records) taking his unique visual brand worldwide. This led to an ongoing relationship with Ninja Tune’s founding duo Coldcut, working on their albums and developing his own musical and visual ideas.

Innovative, moody, deep, clinical, words which describe Mox’s creative approach. Whether it be directing videos with agencies Therapy and Flynn, orchestrating visually spectacular theatre pieces for East London Theatre Company or promoting Britain’s forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games Mox draws on his multi-disciplinary formation to execute with precision his vision with a rare emotional subtlety and sensitivity.
